Latest Kitten Update

They are definitely feeling better. They are acting like kittens.

I went in moments ago to feed them and clean their litter pan. Mojo immediately climbed out as soon as I opened the top of the kennel. Out and onto my lap to play. Those little claws are sharp. Moxie was doing his best to follow his sister but he still needs practice. He almost made it though which was amazing to see, considering how he was the day they come home.

Mojo is a playful mess who couldn’t decide what she wanted to bite, claw at or climb. Moxie wanted to show who was really boss once he was also out and in my lap. They played and wrestled until they decided they were hungry and began looking for dinner.

After replacing the pads on their sleep side I placed the filled dishes in for them to eat. I then cleaned up the other side and placed an automatic water dish that someone had gifted the kittens. I took the following photos, but I’m going to need my son’s help in getting a good photo of their faces.

Hopefully with my son’s help I will be able to get better photos to share.

  1. Those kids are SO cute. You can see the positive progression they’ve already made from the very first photos you shared. They look healthier and very curious, which are great signs. Are you still planning to help them find a new home (hopefully together), or are you starting to contemplate that maybe they might not be doing anywhere? Just throwing that out there… 😉

    • They are absolutely adorable and so sweet. But, I can’t keep them. My dogs would not be kind and the official indoor cat would not either. This is her kingdom and no one else is allowed. I really do need to find that special family for them.

  2. I have to find a home for them. Our official cat will not allow additions and the dogs don’t know yet they are in the house. They accept Cricket because she was here before them, the colony and the kittens they do not accept. I have kept the kittens safe in a spare bedroom where they can heal and grow in peace.

  3. Wow. They are really looking great! So awesome! ❤️
