Day 273; Footnotes Cleaning House

I was sitting here today, waiting, half expecting mom to need me to take her somewhere, when I decided to do some cleaning.  There wasn’t a lot that needed to be done, but I just felt the earth move motivating me toward a bit of a clean up. I started at the far end of the house and made my way forward. Putting things away, sweeping, took the trash out. Simple stuff. The house wasn’t nasty, or even cluttered. It was just…lived in.

Still, I kept tidying up until I felt the driving force was satisfied. Then I got a call, what y’all doing tonight, thought I’d drop by. Come on over. (me silently whispering, thank you motivating factor)

Again, my house wasn’t nasty, but in the back of my mind is my mother’s voice, “No one comes to this house until its cleaned”. So mom, you will be happy to note I am still following your rules, even in my own house. Though I will admit to doing a quick run through to make sure I didn’t miss anything. But since they have just left, I’m going to leave the writing at this and drop in a few photos, because I do love showing them off.

I have been putting off some really good cleaning. But I need to do it this weekend before any Halloween decor goes up. 🙂

  2. It’s a coincidence, that as of now while reading this, Im cleaning my room as the weekends approaching.
There’s a reason why I’m doing before weekend.
