The photographs are mostly beautiful. But, the butterfly one resonates with me. Just after my wife died, my daughter told me she’d been to see a medium, I was very skeptical. But she was told to watch out for a butterfly. About a month later I was visiting and we walked through a busy shopping mall together. Lo and behold, a butterfly came off the window of a shop and landed on my shoulder.. I moved my hand up automatically and the butterfly flew to land f the back of it. My daughter extended her arm and it left me and settled on her. We stood there for ages just transfixed until finally it took wing and avoiding every other person, headed for the exit and freedom.
Even now, 8 years later the sight of a butterfly makes me smile.
    Huge Hugs

I saw my first Black and Yellow Garden Spider of the season today. Summer just doesn’t seem complete until I’ve spotted one. Beautiful photos, Rebecca.

  4. Bugs can also look so beautiful!!

Brilliant photos. Bugs are so pretty up close, but most people donโ€™t get close enough to appreciate them.

    • Thank you! They are amazing, even the less colorful have their own beauty. Those who don’t get close, also don’t know what they are missing. Thank you Claire for your kind comments.
