Day 213; Lovely Sunday Easing Down

Some might call it a boring day. I call it restful.

I went to church this morning, spending time with people I have known some for a life time, others not as long. Each still special and important. The message an important lesson and reminder in what not to do in bad situations. And obviously the correct action.

Coming home after services I debated on making a run to the store to pick up a few items. In the end, I didn’t. In the end, I sat here, scrolling through the various blogs posted, and even watching a little television. I spoke with mom and later with dad. I watched the cats playing out back. It was calm. It was peaceful. It was pure contentment. It was even better when my son made a run for take out from a local restaurant.

Right now, the crickets are sounding strong in their night time symphony. The slight breeze cooling as the hour grows later, feels nice. It was a good first day of the month. One couldn’t ask for more. One couldn’t ask for better.
