Day 351; Footnotes of Christmas wishes

My Christmas tree has been up for weeks. There are no gifts under it, and there won’t be. That’s okay. Because Christmas, doesn’t come from a store. Christmas, is definitely, a whole lot more.

I have Christmas all year in the gift of my son. He is always willing to lend a hand and help out when needed. He may grumble, but he does it. For me, for his grandparents, for friends in need. He will help.

My parents, always here to love and support.

Family, who I know I can depend on.

Friends, that always seem to appear right when they are needed.

Special people who hold special places in a heart that is definitely growing in size and trust.

Can’t leave out the slightly spoiled dogs, Bella and Molly.

The place I call home. The woods out back that are a source of peace, of healing and of magic.

The gift of imagination and ability to put it in words.

The love, forgiveness, peace and merciful grace from my Lord.
Who needs anything from a store?
